Implants are a great treatment option to replace missing teeth. Implants do not require any alteration of adjacent teeth and are not removable. They also look and feel similar to a natural tooth.
After acquiring a digital impression and 3D x-ray, the location of the implant can be planned digitally. This plan is then used to create a surgical guide which allows for extremely precise placement which prolongs the life of the implant and prevents complications. This technology also makes the procedure faster for the patient.

Once the implant is placed in the bone, it is left to heal for 3-4 months. Following this, an impression is taken in order to create the artificial tooth that will be placed on the implant. The impression is then sent to the lab, which fabricates the new crown. To learn more about implants call (203) 924-4731 or visit our Contact Us page for more information.
